April saw two new arrivals on board at Zebra Rock Gallery. We welcome Matty and Honnie to our staff. Matty is now responsible for the superb maintenance of the grounds and Honnie for pleasing our customers at the Cafe. Both Matty and Honnie are keen on music and have been heard to pick out a tune or two between sleeps. We welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay with us.

The new page is calledGeology: did you know? It provides information about the geological nature, location and age of Zebra Rock.
Some of the important facts about this unique and ancient sedimentary rock are:
- Zebra Rock is 600 million years old
- Zebra Rock is a siltstone and is porous to water.
- Zebra Rock is found ONLY in the East Kimberley adjacent to Lake Argyle

If you have trouble managing your website (on Vistaprint) using Internet Explorer, as can happen, then fire up Google Chrome and search using Google for “Dashboard Vistaprint”.
When the page appears click on 'My Account' at the top then look for 'My Resources' and choose Websites, then
Edit Website (at the top) or Website Dashboard (on the left hand panel, where
you can also choose to create your Mobile webpage or edit your Blog - as I am doing now!). Voila! I hope this works in the future

Aksel Kolstad, internationally acclaimed virtuoso pianist, composer and stand-up comedian from Norway, wooed the sell out audience at Zebra Rock Gallery on 29th May 2012. Playing his own interpretations of the classical masters, Grieg, Rachmaninov and Bach, (see Programbelow) he entertained with good humor and superb technique. After playing for the "adults" he put on a Children's Concertthe next day where he played the part of Mozart and entertained 150 students at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School at the Leisure Centre in Kununurra. |

We are not allowed to say this was a "significant birthday" but it was, and even Rod enjoyed the party. Happy Birthday Rodfrom all your friends and admiring rock hounds. The sign in the driveway has been taken down now but the sentiments remain. (Henry was to blame for that). Thanks Henry. We received emal greetings from Jennifer Miller Creagh and others too numerous to list. Rod, take care of those two bottled reds, but dont leave them alone for too long either. |
